Jacques Cousteau Reserve, New Jersey
Research
The Jacques Cousteau Reserve conducts research on the physical, chemical and biological components of the site estuaries and neighboring watersheds. The purpose of this research is to provide a long-term database to characterize the environmental conditions and ecological processes in the reserve and to understand the temporal and spatial variability of the ecosystem components. This database will also be useful for addressing coastal resources management problems in the area.
