Estuary Ecology & Research Field Class
Research Reserve education staff conduct 1-hour or 1.5-hour estuary ecology field excursions to Mud Bay. Students are met on our building's outer deck and introduced to the Reserve, our research questions and current research projects
in Kachemak Bay. Students then walk to a salt marsh habitat on the shore of Mud Bay, where important concepts of estuary ecology are shared.
