The South Slough Reserve include 3,855 acres of uplands; 155 acres of freshwater habitats, including riparian zones, freshwater wetlands, ponds and marshes; and 800 acres of tidelands, including saltmarshes, spoil islands, mudflats and channels, sandflats and rocky bottom.
